Welcome to Surface Solutions. By booking our soft washing and gutter cleaning services, you (“the Customer”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Services Provided
We offer professional soft washing, pressure washing, roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, and exterior cleaning services. Our services are designed to remove dirt, mold, algae, and grime to improve the appearance and longevity of your property’s exterior.
1. Booking & Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your appointment.

Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made on the same day as the scheduled service.

If you need to reschedule, we require at least 24 hours' notice to transfer your deposit to a new appointment.
2. Pricing & Payment

Service pricing is based on square footage, dirt level, number of stories, and specific service requests.

All pricing is subject to confirmation upon our arrival at the job site. If the conditions differ from what was originally stated in the booking, we reserve the right to adjust the final price accordingly.

Full payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods: Credit/Debit Card, Cash, Online Payment, and Checks (if applicable).

A $20 gas fee applies for locations beyond 25 miles from 106 CT-32, North Franklin, CT 06254.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Same-day cancellations result in a forfeited deposit.

Rescheduling is allowed with at least 24 hours’ notice.

If we must cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule at no additional cost.
4. Customer Responsibilities & Liability Protection
To ensure a smooth and safe service, the Customer must perform the following before our arrival:
Protect Personal Property & Outdoor Items

Remove any fragile, valuable, or outdoor items (furniture, potted plants, decorations, doormats, children’s toys, grills, etc.) from the work area.

Cover or relocate electrical items, such as extension cords, outdoor lighting, or appliances, to prevent water damage.
Protect Electrical Outlets & Fixtures

Cover or seal all outdoor electrical outlets, doorbells, and light fixtures to prevent water exposure.

We are not responsible for damage resulting from uncovered electrical components.
Close All Windows & Doors

Ensure that all windows and doors are completely closed before service begins.

We are not liable for water intrusion due to improperly sealed windows or doors.
Ensure Proper Drainage & Downspouts

Confirm that all gutters and downspouts are properly connected and functional before the service.

We are not responsible for water damage due to pre-existing drainage issues.
Provide Safe & Accessible Work Areas

Clear driveways and pathways to allow safe access for our equipment.

If we encounter obstacles that prevent service, we reserve the right to reschedule, and deposits will not be refunded.
5. Service Guarantee & Limitations
While we strive for excellent results, please note:

Some stains (e.g., rust, oil, oxidation, deep mold) may not be fully removable.

Soft washing and pressure washing may expose pre-existing damage (e.g., loose paint, deteriorated wood, cracked siding). We are not liable for damage to weak or aged surfaces.

Gutter cleaning removes debris but does not include underground drain flushing unless specified.

Water supply is required on-site. If no water source is available, arrangements must be made in advance.
6. Liability & Damage Waiver

We are not responsible for damage resulting from failure to follow Customer Responsibilities (Section 4).

Pre-existing damage or deterioration (such as peeling paint, cracked siding, or loose roof materials) is not our liability.

We are not liable for water damage resulting from faulty seals, improperly covered outlets, or ineffective drainage.

The Customer agrees to hold us harmless from any incidental or consequential damages related to the service.
7. Inclement Weather Policy

We monitor weather conditions and will notify you in advance if service must be rescheduled due to rain, storms, or freezing temperatures.

We will not operate in dangerous conditions that compromise safety or service quality.
8. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if:

Unsafe working conditions are present.
-
The Customer engages in disruptive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward our staff.

Payment terms are not met.
9. Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable for same-day cancellations.
-
Refunds are only considered if we fail to complete the agreed service due to an issue on our end.

If you are unsatisfied with the results, you must notify us within 24 hours for us to assess and determine if a service correction or refund is applicable.
10. Privacy Policy

We collect and store personal information solely for booking, service fulfillment, and customer communication.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Connecticut law.
